The journey is just beginning.....23 things and beyond

Wow, I have completed 23 things....I am totally blown away and amazed with it all. I can see the endless possibilities. The 23 things was only a sampling of what is out there. Thank you to the team for all their hard work and putting this together for us. I really have enjoyed the trip so far........

Week 13, Thing 21 Fun Things Wordle, Thing 22 Librarything & Smilebox

I have used Wordle several times. My first experience with Wordle was when a world cloud was created for our LLDP3 action challenge. Everyone at LLDP3 were impressed with the effect of a world cloud and impact it can have.
Librarything looks like it would be a good organizer and fun was to share novels. Smilebox is great tool for creating unique collection to share. There are so many "things" out there. Isn't it just amazing.........the end

Week 12, Thing 19 & 20, Online Mapping and GIS

I always use goole map when I am traveling. I have a GPS, but I still like to see a map before I leave on a trip. I use Google earth to look around the place I am going to. For example when we went to New Orleans we rented a car at the airport. I was able to see the road and buildings along the route we mapped out to get to to the hotel. Now how cool is that! I have created a map of the malls in Saskatoon on CommunityWalk.

Week 11, Thing 17 & 18, social bookmarking & Widgets

Diigo is something I will not take advantage of, but I believe can be a very good tool for organizing and keeping track of sites when your favorites get out of control. Widgets are very cool and easy to use. You can add a lot of interesting things by using them. Now on to online mapping and GIS

Week 10, Thing 15 Social Networking & Twitter

Me again, I have had an account on Facebook for sometime now and I have also experienced being hacked. I have more security in place now. Facebook is a great way to make contact with school buddies...... and to spread information around quickly. I am on a role so I am signing out now. Tally Hoe!

Week 9 Thing 14 Photosharing & Flickr

Hi All,
I am taking advantage of the catch up week to complete my 23 things. I just finished creating an account in Flickr. I have uploaded three holiday pictures of Florida.

Week 7, Things 11 & 12 - Wikis and Wikipedia

I have used wikis and I use Wikipedia all the time. When it is hard to find team time, wiki are good for exchanging information and ideas. Wikipedia is a great place to find definitions for just about everything. Week 8, Thing 13, I'll be working on podcasting......On to thing 14
